Prophecy
There is a God in heaven who reveals secrets. Daniel 2:28

Events of the Rapture

1. Jesus is now preparing a place for us in His father's house. 1 Thessalonians 4:16.

2. He will descend to receive us unto himself. John 14:1-3.

3. He resurrect those who are asleep in Him. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-15.

4. As He descends he will shout. 1 Thessalonians 4:16.

5. We will hear the voice of the archangel. 1 Thessalonians 4:16.

6. We will hear the trumpet call of God. His last trumpet call for His church. 1 Thessalonians 4:16.

7. The dead in Christ will rise first. Their dead bodies will be made incorruptible and joined with their spirit. This is only those Christians who have died during the days of Grace. (Since Jesus crucifixion The old testament saints come later.)                     1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

8. Those who are alive and remained will be made incorruptible. Their bodies made immortal. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53.

9. We will be "caught up" (raptured) together to meet him in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4:17. All of this happens in the twinkling of an eye!

10. The dead and living have a monumental meeting with the Lord in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

11. Jesus receives us to Himself and takes us to His Father's house. "that where I am you may be also" John 14:3.

12. There we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

13. Judgment seat of Christ. Believers will be judged for their works. He will judge all things. Romans 14:10                             2 Corinthians 5:10.

14. The marriage supper of the Lamb. While the Great tribulation is taking place here on earth The Church or the Bride of Christ will be taking part in a wedding and a marriage supper. Revelation 19:9 says; "Write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He said to me, These are the true sayings of God."  This will be just before he returns in power and Glory. this will be during the tribulation here on earth. Matthew 24:21.

While all of these things are happening on earth the people that were left behind are enduring the most terrible things ever imagined. They are going through the tribulation.

Tribulation

The tribulation will occur  before the Glorious appearing. This is made clear by the apostle Paul. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-10.

It will last seven years. Why seven years? Daniel explained the reason for the period of time and the purpose of the tribulation.
Seventy sevens are decreed for your people and your Holy City to finnish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy. Daniel 9:24.

In other words, Daniel was saying that 7 X 70 or 490 years were decreed for Israel and the Holy city. From the time the decree was issued to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Jesus Christ comes there will be seven sevens. and sixty-two sevens. Sixty-nine heptads or groups of 7 are listed. They are broken into 2 segments. The first segment amounts to 49 years. (Verse 25.) The city was to be built with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. This occurred in 457 BC when Artaxerxes I allowed Ezera the scribe to return to Jerusalem to reestablish temple worship. Verse 26 Specifies the termination of the heptads. The cutting off of the Messiah. "483 years after the sixty-nine weeks have begun He will be cut off."
Therefore 483 of the 490 years decreed by Daniel have already taken place. The time stopped at the death of Jesus with seven years left to go.

The tribulation is not only a time of wrath but a last all out effort of God to get our attention. Many will come to Christ during the tribulation. This period of time once again shows not only the power but also the mercy of God.

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservents and on My maidservents I will pour out My Spirit in those days. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth; blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Joel 2:28-32.

John tells us that untold millions will come to Christ during the tribulation. After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7:9.

The Antichrist

John tells us in Revelation 16:13 "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet." These demons go forth to gather the kings of the earth to the final battle " of that great day of God Almighty" Satan tries to emulate everything of God. So as God has the Holy Trinity, Satan has his own trinity. There is Satan who takes on the role of the Father, then there is the Antichrist who is the son, and the false prophet who, like the Holy Spirit, will bring followers to the son. (The Antichrist) He will convince the people of that day to worship the son (Antichrist). The Antichrist and the false prophet will be taken alive from the battlefield and tossed into the lake of fire during the battle of Armageddon. Later after the thousand years are over Satan will be thrown into the Lake of fire with them. They will not rule over the damned in hell as some people think but they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. They will be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His power
2 Thessalonians 1:9.

Daniel 9:27 Tells us that an evil prince (Antichrist) will "make a covenant" with Israel to begin the tribulation. After three and one half years he will break the covenant and will desecrate the temple and proclaim himself as God.
John divided those seven years into two periods of 3 1/2 years. The Tribulation is the first 3 1/2 and the Great Tribulation will be during the last 3 1/2. The Great Tribulation will begin when the antichrist breaks his covent with Israel and desecrates the Temple.

In King Nebuchadnezzar's dream Daniel explained that there will be 5 world governments. (Daniel 2:31-45) 600 Years before Christ Daniel spoke of the Babylonian Empire that made him a captive under King Nebuchadnezzar. It was followed by  the Medo-Persan Empire. Then the Grecian Empire under Alexander the Great. After Alexander the Great died his generals divided the world into four kingdoms and finally was absorbed by the Roman Empire. These first four  world kingdoms have already taken place and the last will be the Antichrist and his world government. Many have tried to take over the world. Napoleon, Adolph Hitler, Genghis Khan, Joseph Stalin, and others but there will be only one more world government. That will be when the Ten Kings that control the world give over their power to the Antichrist.

Read your newspapers. (USA Today) Right now there are many leaders of the United Nations who desire to change the system now in place. They want to divide the world into ten sections and the leaders (kings) of these ten sections will rule the united nations. The United Nations, I feel, will be the tool leading up to the ten kings who lend their authority to the Antichrist. The financial leaders of the world are now working on a world currency (Euro Dollar) and the technology is already in place to place "smart chips" into peoples hands that will act just as a debit card. We are getting closer every day..

There will be ten kings who lend their authority to the Antichrist to place him in power. Three will rise up against him but will fail Daniel 7:24. Daniel tells us that these ten kings will arise before the Antichrist comes on the scene. Three of them will try to resist him but will be defeated quickly. Daniel chapter 7. They will be plucked out by the roots, fall and be subdued by the antichrist. (The Antichrist is the horn with eyes and a pompous mouth.)

There will be one world religion. In Revelation 17 John calls it Mystery, Babylon the great, The mother of harlots and the abominations of the earth ( verse 5)  He says she committed fornication with the kings of the earth. clothed in purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls. She also held a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. Verse 4 tell us that the world church or (Harlot) will have great wealth and will be corrupt. Verse 3 says she sits on the "scarlet beast" (Revelation 13 tells us this is the antichrist)

After 3 and a half years the antichrist will overthrow this one world religion and proclaim himself as God. "And the ten horns which you saw on the beast these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. Revelation 17:16

Judgments

 Seal Judgments Rev. 6
1. A white horse. Revelation 6:1-2 This is the antichrist. The Bible says he carries a bow but no arrows. So he has a strong military but uses diplomacy. Since he wears a crown we know he is successful in his endeavors. He brings a false peace to the world.
2. A red horse. Revelation 6:3-4 It was granted to the one who sat upon the red horse to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.  Revelation 6:3-4. This is probably WWIII. when the three kings stand against the antichrist and he immediately crushes them.
3. A black horse. Revelation 6:5-6 The symbol of famine and disease. John says A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine. In those days a denarius was equal to a day's wages. So it seems that a man will work all day for only enough to feed himself. However do not harm the oil and the wine tells us that the rich will have no problem buying the luxuries of life. Plagues and disease will kill millions.
4. A pale horse Revelation 6:7-8 John said the rider that sat upon this horse was death and Hades followed with him. One quarter of the worlds population (over a billion people) will die. The fact that Hades follows it shows that the dead were unbelievers.
5. The martyrs Revelation 6:9-11 After the fifth seals was opened John saw ..."under the alter the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held." Shortly after the beginning of the tribulation there will be a soul harvest where millions will accept Christ. This is due to the circumstances of the day and the 144,000 witness described in Revelation 7:24. Most of these will be killed by the antichrist.
6. The great earthquake. Revelation 6:12-17   John describes a great earthquake unequaled in history. It is so massive that "every mountain and every island was moved out of its place. There will more than likely be volcanic activity for he says " the sun became as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood."
7. The trumpet judgments Revelation 8:1-2 This seal is very different in that it introduces the seven trumpet judgments. As terrible as the seal judgments were the trumpet judgments are much worse. So intense that John says " When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."

Trumpet Judgments Rev 8,9
1. The first trumpet. Hail, fire and blood. Revelation 8:7 In this first trumpet judgment hail and fire mixed with blood falls from the sky. It will destroy a third of the earth's trees and all of the grass. Think of this. The greatest ecological disaster the world has seen so far.
2. The second trumpet. A mountain of fire. Revelation 8:8-9. John sees "something like a great mountain burning with fire. (maybe an enormous meteorite entering the atmosphere.)  thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood." When this happens a third of every living thing in the sea dies and a third of the ships are destroyed.
3. The third trumpet. A star called wormwood. Revelation 8:10-11 When the angel blows the third trumpet wormwood falls to the earth. John describes it as "burning like a torch" ( Sounds like the great ICBM the army calls wormwood huh) It falls to the earth and causes a third of the earth's rivers and springs to become bitter and poisonous.
4. The fourth trumpet. Darkness. Revelation 8:12 John says "A third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened; a third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.
5. The fifth trumpet. The locusts of Apollyon. An angel will unlock the "bottomless pit" and out comes smoke and locusts. These locusts are controlled by Apollyon a literal demon from hell. They have a scorpion like stinger which will cause torment for five months and will be given the power to torment those who do not have the seal of God on their forehead. They will not kill these people because John says " In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them."
6. The sixth trumpet. The four angels released. These four angels are bound at the river Euphrates. (verse 14). They lead an army of 200 million horsemen. These horsemen are demons who have unearthly powers and horrors. Their sting is in their mouth and their tails and they kill one third of the earth's population.
7. The seventh trumpet. Loud voices in heaven. Revelation 11:15-19. This again is not a judgment but voices in heaven rejoicing over the soon coming trumpet over the antichrist. Great rejoicing and worship fill heaven and on earth there is lightning, noises, thundering, hail and earthquakes.

Bowl or Vial Judgments Rev. 15 16
1. The first bowl judgment. Foul and loathsome sores  Revelation 16:2. Those that worship the antichrist will now have "foul and loathsome" sores. John makes it clear that these boils affect only those who have the mark of the beast.
2. The second bowl judgment. The sea turns to blood. Revelation 16:3 The entire sea becomes as "blood of a dead man." Every living thing in the sea dies as a result of this putrid decaying blood.
3. The third bowl judgment. The rivers and springs turn to blood. Revelation 16:4-7  Now there will be no drinking water. All water is turned to blood. First the seas and now the rivers and springs.
4. The forth bowl judgment. The sun scorches man Revelation 16:8-9. Already parched because of no water, God causes the sun to "scorch" man with "great heat".
5. The fifth bowl judgment. Darkness on the Antichrist's kingdom. Revelation 16:10-11. "They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and sores and did not repent of their deeds. And they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. This cooling darkness may be God's mercy but it defiantly shows the world that God is almighty and all powerful when he wills darkness upon the kingdom of the beast.
6. The sixth trumpet. The Euphrates dries up. Revelation 16:12.  The Euphrates River is the natural boundary between east and west. This river is dried up to ease the crossing of the army of the kings of the east. This army of 200 million will cross over to the valley of Megiddo where they will try in vain to stand against the army of the Lord.
7. The seventh bowl. A great earthquake. Revelation 16:17-21. As this vial or bowl judgment is poured out a voice from the heavenly temple proclaims "It is done." The greatest earthquake ever strikes the earth and particularly  Babylon. Babylon is smashed into three parts and the planet is shook to it's very core. Along with this Giant hailstones weighing 135 pounds each rain from the sky striking men and properties. Still men do not repent but ..."blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since that plague was exceedingly great" (verse 21).

Glorious Appearing

1. The glorious appearing will be immediately after the tribulation. Jesus said; "Immediately after the tribulation of those days... the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven... and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:29. Also paul tells us in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-10 that the coming of Christ to earth will not occur until the "man of sin or son of perdition" is revealed. He says that Christ will "consume him with the breath of His mouth and destroy him with the brightness of His coming.

2. There will be cosmic phenomena in the sun, moon and stars. Matthew 24:29.

3. Heaven opens up and Christ appears on a white horse. Revelation 19:11.

4. The armies of heaven will follow Him. Revelation 19:14.

5. The sign of the Son of Man in heaven. Will be seen by everyone. Matthew 24:30.

6. This time he will be coming in power and in glory and the unbelievers will morn. For they are not ready. Matthew 24:30.

7. The Antichrist and his armies confront Christ. Revelation 19:19.
    There are four battles
    1. Christ go to Edom to rescue Israel from the Antichrist. His clothing is soiled from the blood of His enemies. Isaiah 63:1-6
    2. Then He goes to the Valley of Megiddo where He defeats the armies of the world. Revelation 16:12-16.
    3. Next he defeats the rest of the world's armies in the battle of Jehoshaphat. Joel 3:1-2, 9-17, Revelation 14:14-20.
    4. Finally the Lord will come to Jerusalem to defeat the guardsmen of the Antichrist. They will attempt to destroy the
Holy city. Zechariah 12:1-9, Revelation 14:14-20.

8. Christ cast the Antichrist and the false prophet into the lake of fire. Revelation 19:20.

9. Christ kills the armies of the antichrist. the rejecters of Christianity.  Revelation 19:21.

10. Satan is cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. Revelation 20:1-3.

11. Resurrection of the Old Testament saints and those who died believers during the tribulation. Matthew 24:31          Revelation 20:4.

12. Christ judges the nations and establishes His kingdom. Matthew 25.

Millennium

1. The millennium will last 1,000 years. Revelation 20. One thousand years of peace on earth.

2. "The God of Heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." Daniel 2:44

3. Daniel saw a golden image representing the four Kingdoms to come smashed into nothingness by a stone cut without hands. this stone represents the coming Kingdom. Psalm 2 is known as the messianic psalm. It tells us that it is the messiah that will lead this kingdom. "Ask of  Me, and I will give You the nations of Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel." Psalm 2:8-9.

4. Jesus will allow His people to rule with Him. Revelation 2:27 and also in Daniel chapter 7:22-27 where it says, " A judgment was made in favor of the saints of the most high,... and the time came for the saints to posses the kingdom... Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him. Daniel 7:22-27.
John says; "And I saw thrones and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years... Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but the shall be priest of God and of Christ, and of Christ, and shall reign with Him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4-6.

5. During this time there will be a great multitude of people on the earth. The Bible tells us that infants born will live a minimum of 100 years and old men will fulfill their days. Believers will live throughout the entire period but sinners will be cursed after 100 years. In other words a baby born during this period will have 100 years to accept Jesus Christ. If not, then he will be accursed and will die. Isaiah 65:20.

6. Satan is released from his prison. Revelation 20:7-9

7. When the thousand years has run it's course the sinners of that period will be deceived by Satan to try to attack and overthrow the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This will be a "young" army. If you read the Isaiah 65:20 you will realize that every member of this great army must be under the age of 100. In Revelation 20:7-9 John says " Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Revelation 20:7-9.

8. There will be no war. There will be no alarms or call to arms. In a ball of fire sent from heaven they will all be destroyed. John tells us that "...fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. Revelation 20:9.

9. After this final rebellion God seizes Satan  and throws him into the lake of fire and brimstone where the Antichrist and false prophet are. And there they will be tormented day and night forever. Revelation 20:10.

10. Now comes the time of the Great white Throne Judgment. Those saints martyred during the tribulation were resurrected just before the Millennium, and Christians who died during the days of grace were resurrected at the Rapture, Revelation tells us that the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. At this time the dead sinners will be resurrected  to stand in judgment.
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15.

Heaven

1. After the final rebellion. After Satan, the Beast, the false prophet, and sinners have been cast into the lake of fire and brimstone John describes what happens next.
"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. they will be his people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
Revelation 21:1-4

2. John tells us there will be no Temple in Heaven. Revelation 21:22. For there will be no need for a temple. God will be with us always. Revelation 22:4 tells us that we will continually see God's face. Paul wrote of this in Romans 8:24 when he said "who hopes for what one already has. John also tells us that there will be no sea. Revelation 21:1. There will be no more tears, no death, pain, crying, or sorrow. Revelation 21:4. There will be no sun or moon. Revelation 21:23. No night. Revelation 21:25, There will be no disease or injury. Revelation 22:2. No more curse. Revelation 22:3. Also there will be no more sinners. Revelation 21:8. And there will be no sin or evil. Revelation 21:27.

3. What there will be in Heaven is told in the Bible also. We will have fellowship with God forever. Revelation 21:3,7,22. Unimaginable beauty. Revelation 21:11,21. Unity between believers. Revelation 21:12,14. Unending light. Revelation 21:23, 22:5. There will be unending newness. Revelation 21:5. Forever we will have water of life. Revelation 21:6, 22:1. Security. Revelation 21:12. Unlimited fruit from the tree of life. Revelation 22:2. Unending reign. Revelation 22:5. And forever we will be in the service of God. Revelation 22:3. We will have great knowledge. 1 Corinthians 13:12. Holiness. Revelation 21:16, Hebrews 12:14, Ephesians 2:21. It will be a time of Rest. Hebrews 4:1-11, Revelation 14:13. We will have Joy. 1 Thessalonians 2:19 Jude 1:24. Glory. 2 Corinthians 4:17. And eternal worship. Revelation 7:9-12
